Official Rules

Laurel & Paw Portrait Giveaway

  1. No purchase necessary. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.
  2. Sponsor. Laurel & Paw, 1480 Jamacha Rd. #205, El Cajon, CA 92019. Questions: support@laurelandpaw.com.
  3. Who can enter. Legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older and the age of majority in their state of residence (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi) when they enter. Employees of the Sponsor and members of their immediate families and households cannot enter.
  4. Entry period. The giveaway starts October 23, 2026 at 12:00 AM Pacific Time and ends November 9, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. The Sponsor's server clock is the official timekeeper.
  5. How to enter. Visit laurelandpaw.com/giveaway and complete the entry form with your first name, email address and whether your pet is a dog or a cat, and agree to these Official Rules. This website entry is required; bonus entries count only for people who have entered this way. Limit one website entry per person and per email address.
  6. Bonus entries. Each person can have at most 3 entries in total: their website entry plus up to 2 bonus entries from the ways below. (a) Follow: follow @laurelandpaw on Instagram and give your Instagram handle on the entry form (a handle given by more than one entrant earns this bonus only for the first). Instagram does not let the Sponsor check followers automatically, so the Sponsor checks by hand: a follow bonus entry counts once the Sponsor sees the entrant following @laurelandpaw, and the entrant must still be following @laurelandpaw at the time of the drawing. (b) Tag: comment on a giveaway post on the @laurelandpaw Instagram account with #laurelandpawgiveaway and tag two (2) different real Instagram accounts other than your own and @laurelandpaw; one tag bonus per person, and it counts only when the commenting account matches the Instagram handle on a website entry. (c) Share: each entrant receives a personal share link; when a new person enters through it with a new email address, the entrant who shared it receives a bonus entry (entries from the same internet connection as the sharer do not count). Bonus entries are optional and are not required to enter or win. Facebook posts about the giveaway are for information only; tagging on Facebook does not earn entries. Entries made by script, bot or other automated means, or using multiple or fake identities or accounts, are void. Entering adds you to the Laurel & Paw email list; you can unsubscribe at any time without affecting your entry.
  7. Prize. One (1) prize: A custom framed fine-art portrait (16 × 20 inches) of the winner's dog or cat, created with AI from their photo. Approximate retail value: $139. The winner provides a photo of their own dog or cat; the portrait is created from it with AI image tools, and the winner approves the portrait preview before it is printed. Shipping within the United States is included. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred; the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary. Any taxes are the winner's responsibility.
  8. Winner selection and odds. One winner is selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries (bonus entries included, up to 3 per person) on or about November 12, 2026. If the entry drawn is a follow bonus entry and the entrant does not follow @laurelandpaw on Instagram at the time of the drawing, that bonus entry is void and the drawing is repeated. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  9. Notification. The winner is notified at the email address they entered with and must reply within 7 days to confirm eligibility and claim the prize. If the winner cannot be reached, does not reply in time, or is ineligible, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner may be drawn.
  10. Publicity. The Sponsor will ask the winner's permission before sharing their name, their pet's photo or their portrait. Sharing is never a condition of winning.
  11. General conditions. The Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process or breaks these rules, and may cancel, suspend or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failure or anything else beyond its control affects its fairness, in which case a winner may be drawn from eligible entries received before the problem.
  12. Release and limitation of liability. By entering, you release the Sponsor from any claims arising from your participation in the giveaway or from receiving or using the prize, to the extent the law allows.
  13. Social media. This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, Meta or TikTok. You are providing your information to Laurel & Paw, not to any social media platform.
  14. Privacy. Information you give when entering is used to run the giveaway and to send you Laurel & Paw emails, as described in our Privacy Policy at laurelandpaw.com/privacy.
  15. Governing law. These rules are governed by the laws of the State of California.
  16. Winner's name. For the winner's first name and state, email support@laurelandpaw.com with the subject “Giveaway winner” within 30 days after the drawing.
