Photo tips for dogs

  1. Get down to their level.
Crouch to their eye height so their face, muzzle and ears come out the right shape.
  2. Use daylight.
Outside or by a bright window. Flash flattens their coat and turns eyes into glowing dots.
  3. Ears up.
Hold a treat or squeaky toy just above your phone. That alert, ears-up look makes the best portraits.
  4. Markings in view.
Pick a photo that shows the spots, patches and colors that make them theirs, without a harness or sweater covering them.

How it works

  1. Upload a photo.
One clear photo of your dog or cat. Phone photos are perfect.
  2. Pick a scene.
Royal, heroic, funny or seasonal: the studio shows every one.
  3. See it free.
Your preview is ready in about a minute. Check every detail of their face.
  4. Choose how it lives.
Digital, a framed print, a canvas or a keepsake. Nothing prints until you approve it.

Questions

Will it really look like my dog?

That's the point. The studio is built to keep what makes your dog theirs: face shape, ears, eye color, coat and markings, for every breed and mix. You zoom in on every detail before anything is printed, and can try another scene or photo first.

Is it a painting?

No. Your portrait is made with AI image tools from your own photo, then checked for likeness before you approve it. It's printed on fine-art paper or canvas, or delivered as a high-resolution digital file.

Can I put more than one dog in it?

Yes. Up to three pets fit in one portrait for the same price as one, dogs and cats together if you like, and each can come from a separate photo.

My dog has passed away. Can I still make one?

Yes. A favorite photo is all you need, and our memorial portraits are made gently for exactly this. See the memorial collection for scenes made to remember them.

Do I have to pay to see it?

No. Your preview is free and ready in about a minute. You only pay if you love it and choose a product.

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

Each piece is made to order (2–10 business days), then shipped (3–7 business days). US shipping is $9.95, free on orders of $75 or more.
